How did you decide to come to Franciscan to study?
I attended a "come and see weekend" and fell in love with the campus and the people.
What did you study, and what were you involved in on campus as a student?
I majored in Psychology-Mental Health and Human Services. I worked on the retreat committee for several years, played intramural sports, held several work study jobs, played a minor roll in one of the plays, and was in Salt of the Earth household.
What are you doing now (professionally)?
I have been in the insurance and financial services industry for 34 years now, and own and operate a boutique financial services firm, Illumination Financial Group.
How have you been involved as an alum (Alumni Board, being a parent etc)?
I am involved on the Alumni Board and work to support the University with the Baron's Club and any other way that I can. I still stay very close to many alum that I went to school with the stayed in the area.

They also provide Business as Your Legacy planning for business owners to structure their businesses to protect them with Key Man Insurance, Buy Sell agreements and other programs to help protect business owners.
