How did you decide to study at Franciscan?

I decided to come to Franciscan because I came to the realization that my deepest desire is to
share my faith and the person of Jesus Christ with others and whether or not that takes the form
of leading a youth group or witnessing to my faith in a corporate environment, I would first
need to prepare myself with the proper armor and artillery. Franciscan was where I could go to
prepare myself with a greater knowledge of my faith and surround myself with peers who would
support me in those efforts.

What did you study?

I studied Philosophy particularly the school of thought known as Christian Personalism. I was
employed by the Hildebrand Project from my freshman to senior year to help them further the
thought and witness of the Catholic theologians and philosophers Dietrich von Hildebrand and
his wife Alice. I contributed to their student run blog Truth from the Heart, on a regular basis.

What were you involved in on campus?

Rather than join household life, I was taught how to grow virtue and community through the
women's lacrosse program. I joined in the second year of the program and played all four years.
It was one of the greatest decisions of my life. Disciplining the flesh and learning how to
persevere were of infinite help in my spiritual growth and understanding of the spiritual life.

What are you doing now?

I’m currently a Partnership Executive for Hallow, a Catholic prayer and meditation app. On behalf
of Hallow, I engage with Diocese, Universities, and any institution or company that would like to
bring Hallow to their community.

What has your Alumni Board involvement been?

As a recent addition to the alumni board, I'm looking forward to being even more involved and
lending my time and efforts to the FUS community. Most recently, I participated in the Alumni
Sharing Knowledge networking series where I was able to share my life and career experiences
with students and learn from the other panelists.
